Warmia Bakery uses original, old world recipes which have been passed down from generation to generation. The Bakery is named after a region in present day Poland, located in the North East of the country, being part of the Warminsko-Mazurskie Voivodship bordrering eastern region of Podlasie.
The idea for the bakery originated when two friends got together with the goal of making baked goods from old polish recipes, true to the centuries old taste and tradition. We make our cakes and pastries to order, with the freshest and highest quality ingredients, some of which are imported directly from Poland. Our motivation is to introduce the Triangle area to European homemade cakes and pastries, the kind you may remember from your childhood as made by your mother or grandmother. We will never sacrifice the integrity of our bakery and our cakes by cutting any corners or by using half measures to make our products. We are consumers just like everyone else and find ourselves disappointed with the taste and lack of quality of many baked goods currently available. We take pride in what we do, and never use any kind of mixes or preservatives and all of our products are made in our state inspected kitchen.
