NEW! Merry Oaks Coffee – A small-batch coffee roaster near Raleigh, owned by Eli + Dawn Ruhl. We became interested in roasting coffee in 2006, when Dawn came across a website that detailed how to roast coffee at home. It was an ‘a-ha’ moment, one of many, in which we thought ‘we can make that at home?!’ Eli took the information she brought home, fashioned a coffee roaster, and the rest, as they say, is history. We couldn’t believe how much better the beans tasted, and we couldn’t keep the information to ourselves, so we started sharing our coffee with a few friends. They told their friends, and eventually people started asking if they could pay us for coffee beans. The nearly-4 years since then have allowed Eli to hone both his skills and his passion as a small batch coffee roaster. Visit us online at www.merryoakscoffee.com
