Everyone is very curious about how we came up with our company name. Believe it or not, the company is named after a fun game my youngest son and I like to play –Baby Turtle. One day he was playing underneath a laundry basket and I asked him what he was doing. He replied, “I’m a turtle”. I then said, “you are a baby turtle”, and he quickly said, “you are Mama Turtle”. It was an easy choice.

Some Natural Characteristics of Soy Candles
- Temperature changes in soy wax may cause “sweating” or beads of water on top of candle. This usually goes away after candle adjusts to room temperature or after the first burn.
- Soy wax may “frost” or appear to have a snowflake pattern due to the changes in temperature.
- Temperature changes may cause soy wax to pull away from the surface of the glass container due to expansion and contraction of the wax.
- Soy candles are very sensitive to temperature and light. Place candles away from sunlight, florescent lighting and heat sources.
All these are natural characteristic of soy wax and in no way affect the quality of the candle.
Candle ‘Usage Safety
- Burn candle within sight.
- Keep away from drafts and vibrations.
