Opening Day is coming up!

Sunday, February 21st, 2010At the market place yesterday, Miyako was there with her baked goods including great homemade buns filled with sweet red bean paste as well as cookies and cake. She will be back again as weather permits until the market opens for the season.
Also, Renee Parker from Parker Farms organic meat producers was there and will return March 6 before the market opens for the season in April. They have great meats of all kinds. If you’d like something special, please see their contact info on the vendor page.

Lettuce from Scott Spahr
Hello to all our faithful customers. We have been fallow and resting a bit, just like our gardens and vegetable plots, except for the tireless Scott Spahr. He is there all winter, kept warm in his bread truck by a very toasty heater. Scott sells very tasty fresh lettuce, tomatoes and some root vegetables like sweet potatoes, grown in his hydroponic greenhouses. Please visit him on Saturdays, regular hours.
